Terms and Conditions

Tour Payments

Pre-payment of 100% of total tour cost per person is required at time of on-line booking
of any tour.
Cash or travelers cheques will be accepted for same-day booking prior to the start
of the tour(s).
All payments made to Rocky High Tours Ltd. are non-refundable. (See CANCELLATION POLICY)
All tour fees are in Canadian dollars.
Tour fee excludes GST and all venue admission costs.
Not included in the tour costs are purchased items of a personal nature, food and drinks (lunches) and gratuities to service personnel and the tour guide/driver.
Not included in the tour costs are the cost of transportation to the tour starting locations or transportation costs incurred after tours are concluded.
Prices throughout this web site and the brochure are those in effect on the date that publication began and are subject to change without notification.

Changes to Tours

Rocky High Tours must be notified of any changes to the original tour booking after final payment has been made.
Changes to the original tour booking after final payment has been made can only be made 14 days prior to the date of the original tour.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund for booked tours cancelled two (2) weeks prior to the tour date.
50% refund for booked tours cancelled one (1) week prior to the tour date.
Cancellation refunds are contingent upon cancellation notification having been received and confirmed by Rocky High Tours.
No refunds will be made for missed tours.
Cancellations with a 100% refund or re-bookings may be granted for compassionate reasons. Clients must contact Rocky High Tours regarding compassion cancellations.

Smoking/Alcohol Policy

Smoking is not permitted on any of Rocky High Tours Ltd. tour vehicles.
In Alberta, smoking is not permitted in any public establishments (i.e. restaurants and indoor attractions) or on public transportation.
The consumption of alcohol on Rocky High Tours vehicles is strictly prohibited.

Waiver of Liability/Responsibility

Rocky High Tours Ltd. shall not be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to personal property or otherwise in connection with Rocky High Tours provision of touring services.
Rocky High Tours Ltd. shall not become or be liable or responsible for any additional expense or liabilities sustained or incurred as a result of Rocky High Tours provision of touring services.
Rocky High Tours Ltd. reserves the right to cancel for any valid reason; any trip or tour up to seven days before departure date without liability on the part of Rocky High Tours Ltd.

Personal Liability

Travel into mountainous and wilderness regions may entail a certain amount of risk. Rocky High Tours Ltd. assumes no liability in the event of an accident or incident to its clients during all tours.
Proper footwear is strongly recommended.
Alberta weather is noted for changing ‘in minutes’. A warm jacket and/or a light rain jacket are recommended, as is appropriate head wear.

Medical Insurance

Rocky High Tours Ltd. recommends that all clients traveling with Rocky High Tours Ltd. carry adequate medical insurance and coverage.
