Savor samples of the oldest alcoholic beverage known to man. A short visit to the Big Rock, the world’s largest glacial erratic, is followed by lunch in the historic town of Black Diamond. Marv at Marv’s Soda Shop will delight you with his 1950s nostalgia; or belly up at the longest western saloon bar at the Black Diamond Hotel. After a pleasant drive through foothills ranch country, experience an awe-inspiring 300 mile long panoramic view of the foothills and Rocky Mountains from the grounds of the Leighton Art Gallery and Museum. What’s a sightseeing trip without seeing critters! Our last stop will visit the Canadian Rocky Mountain Ranch to see and photograph herds of buffalo (bison) and Elk.
