 Badlands and Dinosaur Tour

So what did happen 75 million years ago, eh!!!???

The Red Deer River badlands are a unique geological feature in this part of Southern Alberta. You will be amazed as 75 million years of geological splendor are exposed for you and your camera lens at Horsethief Canyon. A short crossing of the river on the Bleroit Ferry presents a 'bottoms up' view of the canyon.

Your tour guide will provide you with an informational commentary of the geological history of the Badlands and the significance of the Drumheller region in establishing the Royal Tyrrell Museum as Canada's leading palaeontological research and exhibits facility.

The exhibits at the museum are guaranteed to “WOW!” the kids and amaze adults of all ages. If you thought that Jurassic Park was cool, wait until you see what the real T-Rex and Raptors looked like; and if you were a bit hesitant about going into the water after seeing Jaws, you’ll really think twice about swimming in the ancient seas 100 million years ago.
